JDAVOLA - THANKS FOR THE WELCOME BACK!
Although I wasn't away that long I guess that some did miss me. Thank you.
How have I got you wrong? You are a welcome addition to this Board in that between the both of us we might clear out some of the misinformation and mistrust that seems to be too prevalent lately. Working together, as the Yin-Yang the total community - not just for taxpayers, not just for students, or not just for school board members, but the total community, we can give a shot of confidence that next year's budget process will become a model for all future year's OK'ed budgets.
I do know how tough a job it is to do Public budgets and get them right. After all I have 30 years experiance of doing just that in the Plainedge community and five more years of budget work for the Nbad wordau community at NLS as a Trustee.
The 38 yeards of Public budget experiance is also backed up by making Budgets for Profit/Loss commercial firms, where, unlike in the Public budget arena, one lives or dies by the accuracy of your budget planning. There is no tapping into the Public's pocket next year to make up for poor planning. And the compebad wordive nature of profit/loss budgeting means each and every item has to be as tightly controlled, efficient and accurate as you can make it. Fourtunately for me, I succeded in doing just that - so I could retire with ease after many a sucessful job completed to budget, and not be fired!
But back to us, thanks for the Welcome Back - even though it was but a day that I was gone.
P.S. Admin - Please check out site filtering again. In the above text, where I used "OK'ed budgets" I tried to use " P-A-S-S-E-D budgets" which got stated as "P-bad word=E-D budgets".
In jadavola's following mesage they got the BAD WORD interpretation for "passed" also!
Funny how this forum won't let us use "PASSED" BUDGET or I "ASSURE" YOU!

Hey Mr. Ed, you want "evidence" of mis-information? Go read the post one of your minions posted containing mis-information about the test scores and passing rates. I don't want you to waste too much of your valuable time with your usual routine of e-mails and phone calls between you and your minions, speculating if I'm a current or former board member.....maybe I'm a taxpayer with a large sense of humor and a low tolerance for mis-information. Go to the source. Don't listen to the talking horse. It's all good. Just showin' some love cousin.
Remember...pray for the victims. Peace out.

jdavola -
Minion?, Minion?, what's with this "minion" business you have made up? I have no "minions" or subordinates. I am me myself, one individual that speaks for myself.
And I let anyone know who I am and where I got my information from. It is as timely as the sources that I derive the information from. It is as accurate as the sources, that's why I let them be known.
What is it? Do you feel there is some mysterious organization out to "get you" just because more than one person speaks their views in a manner similar to mine? Don't believe it about me!
Let me guarantee you, and others, I am not in cahoots with anyone else.
Just because a majority of others may question or reject your own views, does not mean there is an organization against you.
You may be the one in left field. And, I don't believe that left-field is of any less importance than any other field, I played that position myself, among many other positions.

Justfacts, bravo! Great characterization of those who feel threatened by the truth. I want to express my appreciation ( this Board would not allow me to use the word: GRATITUDE...the BOARD thinks it's a BAD WORD....it must be contagious) for those who have made this forum possible and the determination of those who will not be silenced. Even the perfectly obvious negative, sarcastic and offhand comments that this individual has made (i.e.; generalized comment about members supplying "misinformation" without substantiating that claim) speaks a ton about the nature of the individual. As does the general nature of the posts; which are street corner "wise-guy" comments and personalized attacks on others. Eloquently stated. This has been a typical scenario throughout the years and yes, gives one a glimpse into the mindset of those who are unwilling to deal with the truth. Intelligent discussions launched from the heart of good intentions are what makes a community strong. Truth seekers draw a gathering of the creme de la creme whose mission is to set things straight where there's darkness and deception. What's at work here is the harvest, the separation of the wheat from the tares. Those who are intent on maintaining the status quo can't do much else than attack, manipulate and deceive in order to keep under cover the error of their ways. Still working on the filter that will not allow "bad words". Unfortunately, it filters certain letters in words such as gratitude. - Administrator

Hey yruohk...
you sound like a philosophical type gal....but you know, refering to the district superintendent by the "Rich-man" term without showing any love at all is just doing what you claim I'm doing! But after all, call me crazy, but I always show some love. So here's a little nugget for you to ponder...."Ye reapeth what ye soweth". And If you can't take it, don't dish it out.
Remember.....Pray for the victims. Peace out.
Love y'all,
JD

Peace out. Love y'all, JD And how appropriate a nugget for what's being sown are seeds of truth, which can only come from love and what will be harvested will be the fruit of our labors. As for "you can't take it," is that I or rather those who were instrumental in silencing the truth speakers?

Administrator-I was trying something that JustFacts suggested regarding refreshing and then viewing the number of people on line. What is an "invisible" guest/viewer?

Administrator-I was trying something that JustFacts suggested regarding refreshing and then viewing the number of people on line. What is an "invisible" guest/viewer? Let me see if I can list the ways this board shows who is viewing this site: Member - This shows the number of members logged in . The members name will be displayed and the number of member logged in will be shown. Guest: These are people that are able to view the posts and the calader but are NOT able to post. They must either register or log in to reply or create a post. Invisible: Is someone that is logged in but their name will not show up. This really serves no purpose because once you create or reply to a post, your name is displayed at that post. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

BOEBUSTER, Thanks for hanging in!
I hope that you understand the reasons why people write what they do. If you read some of the posts above, it may give you and anyone else reading, a clue as to what/who we deal with in this community.
Thanks again!
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, BUT,... most of all,....
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
