Why is it that whenever I read the Massapequa Post, I always read about the Massapequa School District and Massapequa Park School District? Why are there never (or hardly ever) any articles about the Plainedge School District? Does the Post shut us out? Does our district not submit articles to the Post?
Isn't this another great way to get the community more informed about our district? Not everyone goes to the district "blog-site". My guess is that seniors, (who make up a large population in Plainedge) don't look at the district blog-site. They read the paper.

We're usually in the Bethpage local paper. It might be the Tribune but I'm not sure.

I, too, think this is strange, I purposely subscribe to The Post because we have been told (in Board minutes, if I remember correctly) that The Post is our official paper!! Go figure!
Also, wasn't a PR person or firm hired this year? That is why we now have a district-wide newsletter mailed home once again (used to be "PlainTalk"). Where are they?
