As I was at the fields at Eastplain and Packard today for after school practices (Monday) I became very aware of the speed of traffic on the streets around the schools. The Town of Oyster Bay has a local limit of 30 mph. As parents, we are on the fields with our kids for the most part. At times we are in a position to see that traffic is moving at a VERY fast speed around the schools, (my strongest observation so far has been to Eastplain) As the days get shorter, the visibility becomes less. Does anyone have a "IN" to finding how to get one of the mobile radar "Traps" into our side streets? I have tried to find out in the past, but have always knocked on the wrong door.
