Hello everyone, hope all is well with you. Our meeting previously scheduled for Wednesday April 18th has been postponed and will be held on
Wednesday April 25th, 8:00 pm at the N. Albany Ave community centre.
As stated in my original email, all committees needed for a successful vote yes campaign have been setup and our work has begun, however, we feel that there has not been enough changes since our last get together to warrant a meeting at this point. But let me update you on few things:
Our sign committee purchased 1,000 Vote Yes Signs and the first batch will arrive on the 25th, just in time for a first distribution. The additional 800 signs will be here on the 27th, giving us almost 3 weeks of exposure time across our neighborhood. Last year we bought a total of 750 signs, so we're plus 250.
Donna Pessah will once again be heading the HS Seniors & Alumni sign up committee and I do believe she has already started this process. If anyone is interested in giving her a hand, please contact her directly as I'm sure she could use the help.
Phil is in the process of completing the mailing and will be ready by the 25th.
The fliers along with any other mailings will then be distributed by our Flyers Distribution committee, headed by Patty Danielo and has more than 30 volunteers and the list is growing.
Our Train Stations signage committee (Budget Vote Day), headed by Anne Weeks & Donna Borgogelli have also been joined by Kevin Kane and added many more volunteers to their list. Nice job.
Phone solicitation and information committee has many volunteers but I'm still looking for someone to head this committee. Don't be shy….
Budget Awareness & Rally committee. No takers as of right now. If this continues to be the case we will need to address this need at our next meeting.
That's all I have for now. Please feel free to bring your thoughts and ideas forward as this is a joint effort by all. Please be sure to let others know about the change.
