As many of you are aware, the drug problem in Nassau County (and Suffolk) has grown tremendously. From older kids selling to younger to doctors giving prescriptions to students, the problem is growing rapidly.
There seems to be articles in Newsday almost daily documenting this problem. If you have students in the High School level, what steps has the district taken to help fight this problem - that you know of?
Do you think the school district should should be more active in helping fight this problem or should they step back and leave the problem to the parents and county officials?
