I believe that Plainedge in order to stay afloat and prosper needs to become an actual town and not just a school district and we should also try and move our school districts borders to increase school population and encompass more business' along Broadway.

By expanding the borders, you increase the classroom size or increase the need for more space. That means construction additions to the school(s) and an increase in taxes.
Additionally, by expanding the borders you do not gain a significant tax base to help reduce the burden nor do you gain any tax relief from the insignificant number of businesses in the area.
We need a superintendent that doesn't simply concern herself with grades but gets involved with leading this community and helping solve these types of issues too.

I want this town to grow and be a powerhouse instead of wallowing at the bottom we need to seriously consider this as an option.

Again, if we had a superintendent that cared about the rest of the community and not just numbers on paper, you might have an advocate that could help.
