So long friend, teacher, confidant and neighbor.
Ed Dowdell, you will be greatly missed. The knowledge you have shared with us is priceless and we will never forget how much you have taught us. You strived for a better Plainedge and for all of us to base our decisions on "Just Facts".
Rest well my friend.

Administrator -
I could not agree more. Ed was a supporter and friend and I will truly miss him. Ed never refused a request and ALWAYS offered assistance however he could provide it. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Dowdell family, the library board and all that called him a friend.
ED- YOU WILL BE MISSED!!!!
Regards, Frank Presuto

This community has lost a caring and compassionate man whose thoughts were always in the best interest of the children. He will be missed. I would like to extend my deepest condolence to his family. He will be in my prayers.
