This topic was brought up at the Q&A session on the December 15th Board Meeting.
Does anyone know what the answer was. Please let us know.

Go Plainedge!
It looks like you're out of luck![/i]
By now, if anyone had some information they would have replied. I guess none of us knows, or will ever know, the story behind the cost of the District's Christmas Party at the Caterers. Like many of the questions asked by the public - if the Administration or the Board doesn't want to answer them - they won't!
Or, if you continue to press them for an answer they get irrational, boisterous and bellicose. Stomping and ranting about how YOU don't know what you talking about, - we've already given you all you need to know! - YOU lack the knowledge to understand "these complex matters" - Stop wasting my time with your inane ramblings! - I'm a VERY busy man! Besides, the Administration is harried by "having to prepare accounting records for the DA" - OR "we're busy with the Budget tasks", - OR, "whatever comes next!"
Ask the many people who have queried them in one-on-one e-mails. The Richman reply is always the same - pompous posturing! I guess it works when you work for him. It doesn't work in this quarter however. It's all part of their posturing and attempt at intimidation of the public. Well, from what I've seen of the Plainedge public - they are no going to be diverted, intimidated nor turned away from their goal.
For the best example of their dedication just look what they did in the Sports program - and watch what they'll do during the Budget preparation program!
Pompous Posturing will not Prevail![/b]

GO PLAINEDGE!
Positive PR is only needed or used when YOU think it is necessary!
When the YOU is someone from the educational system they rarely think they need positive PR!
After all, aren't they the all knowing?
Far superior intellectually to those they normally talk to?
Why should they need PR?
Just a simple "SHUT UP and SIT DOWN" is all they ever need!
Or maybe, on occasion, a "Now listen to me"
And don't forget - it is too hard for them to drop the concept that it is THEY who are "IN CHARGE"
So, my dear GO PLAINEDGE! - please forgive them for their inferior ways of dealing with fellow adults - or even recognizing that there are fellow adults!
